Regardless of the season that you're in, and whether your babies are big or small or even furry, this time in your life deserves to be captured by something other than your iPhone.
My style of photography focuses on the connection between family members rather than a lot of smiling at the camera. We will get those photos but generally we will focus on interacting together and laughing with each other to capture genuine, joyful memories of your favorite people.

Filled with dozens of flattering dresses for pregnant and postpartum bodies, my client closet is available to you to make it easier to choose outfits that will undoubtedly look amazing in your photos. Each dress is dry cleaned, steamed, and ready to wear. All of the dresses are feminine, flowy, and comfortable.

OUR PROCESS

initial meeting
During our initial conversations, we will make sure we are best fit for each other. Trust and confidence in your photographer are key aspects to creating amazing photographs. MBP clients are ready to work together to create their dream session and are open to suggestions on wardrobe, location, and artwork.

booking
A non-refundable retainer and a signed contract is required to book your session. This comes with a delivery of our style and prep guide to help you plan for your session as best you possibly can! Payment plans are available.

PLANNING + CONSULTATIONS
We begin with a detailed consultation to understand your vision and preferences. This includes discussing wardrobe options for you and your family, ensuring every detail enhances the beauty of your session.

Session Day
Session day is when all your ideas and planning come together. My approach is laid back and we generally follow the lead of the children with some prompts for natural interaction. The more you can relax and enjoy having fun with your family, the better the images.

gallery delivery+ Artwork
Galleries are delivered in 2-3 weeks and any artwork your have your heart set on will be ordered at this time.

I have a beautiful collection of dresses for all seasons of motherhood from maternity to postpartum that all my clients have access to for no additional cost. Each dress will be steamed and ready to go. My dresses are chosen for their feminine and flattering features.
If you prefer to shop for new outfits, you can take a look at the client closet for inspiration and I highly recommend you get your colors analyzed to identify which colors will look best on you! It's quick and free - just ask me and I'll send you the link. I recommend choosing timeless over overly trendy pieces.
WHAT SHOULD WE WEAR?
If it looks like it's going to rain or be really gloomy, I'll be in touch via email or phone a few days in advance to reschedule.
To achieve my light and airy style and to ensure good skin tones, we need a lot of light, especially indoors. Should we need to reschedule, I assure you it will be well worth it in the end.
What do we do if it rains?
I understand nap and sleep schedules are incredibly important! We can absolutely work around any schedule. For glowing golden light, I typically shoot one to two hours before sunset but I know that can be difficult in the summer. If we choose the right location, we can certainly move any shoot to early afternoon to avoid sleepy cranky babies.
can we work around my toddler's schedule?
This is a totally normal fear! We will do our best! Kids have very short attention spans and I understand that. I always say hope for the best but expect the worst and to smile to matter what your baby decides to do! I'll give you and your family a lot of direction and prompts to guide you into "poses" that allow me to capture genuine connection. We will get a smiling at the camera photo at the beginning of your session then from there on out we will focus on creating genuine connection.
WHAT IF MY KIDS DON'T COOPERATE?
You'll receive a link to a digital gallery within a 2 weeks of your session that will allow you to download the high resolution images. If your package includes an album credit, it must be used within in the timeframe outlined in your contract or it will be forfeited.
Your images will be available in your gallery for ONE calendar year from the date of publishing. You have the option to pay to keep your images online for longer but I highly recommend downloading them and backing them up in multiple places.
